Some Queries regarding EOI

Dear All,

I am about to file the EOI for category 190. I have the following queries and would be grateful if you guys can help me out. Currently my score is approx. 70 points.

1. Can i give the IELTS or PTE english exam AGAIN after submitting the EOI ? to improve the points score. As i want to file the application as quick as possible. Please advise.

2. I had my experience assessed by vetasses for Portfolio Manager (Financial Investment Manager 222312) and positive outcome came on dec 2014, they give me 3 years experience. as i started this job in 02 March 2011. However, Now, I crossed more than 5 years for the same job, what should i do ? shall i re-assess my vetasses or they will consider it themselves ? please advise.

3. Before this job, i worked as "Investment/Financial Analyst" for 3 years, which i think is relevant. However, in the vetassess assessment outcome, that job was not assessed. So, when i was filling the EOI form, it asked me if this job was RELEVENT to the category i am applying. Shall i select Yes or No ? Please advise.

4. My age is now 32 years and 8 months. I will turn 33 in july. So if i submit the application before july. My age will be considered 32 or 33 ?

I would highly appreciate if someone can answer these questions for me.

Thank you

Saad

EOI Queries

Hi Saad,

Please note that I am not a registered migration agent. I am just a migrant who has done the process and eager to help future migrants. I request you to do your own research and get further information from approved sources.

Regarding your questions:

1) IELTS again : If you have submitted your EOI and have received an invitation you generally cannot amend anything in the EOI. If you have not yet received an invitation then you can change details.

2) VETASSES Experience assessment : I don't think you need to go back to VETASSES for re-assessment for this part. It is but understood that some time would have elapsed since you did your paperwork and you merely need to state the actual period in the EOI (with proof to back the claim)

3) Investment/Financial Analyst : Although VETASSES has not assessed this experience does not mean it may not be considered relevant for the Skill set. Look at it this way. Declaring it can only strengthen your case and can do no harm.

4) AGE : Not sure about this one. My guess is that age is calculated on the date you lodge your application.

All the best with your visa process!

Thank you for help.

I received invitation for NSW 190, however, my category is in the stream 2.

I am about to submit my application. I have all the supporting documents regarding the points and attaching 2 years bank statement along with updated experiance letter along with the vetassess letter (which shows 3 years).

Since, my occupation is in the stream 2. I am thinking to include my other experiance and certifications in the resume which compliment my occupation and make me suitable choice.

Also, i am also thinking to upload those certificates as supporting documents to NSW and include an INDEX file explaining the documents.

Please advise.

hi, i think you can take admission maximum 3 times, after 3 times you will not be qualified to take admission again. May be you have yo wait for 1 year at least.
