Sup all, from Cali (USA)

Hows everyone doing today? Well I am doing great. My intro and "to do" list.

About me. 24 and just finished 5 years in the United States Marine Corps. Well, I've been out of the Corps for about 3 months, and made the decision to attend school and live in Australia. Specifically, in Queensland.

I have Aussie Citizenship through my father. Tomorrow I turn in my passport application with the consulate, and I just finished the application for the University of Queensland. So right now, on my to do list:

-Interview for Aussie passport
-Gather all materials needed for the UQ application, and send it out.
-Wait I guess

So, you may wonder why I want to study in Australia. Well, I visited Brisbane last year to see some family, and loved it. Loved the place, loved the pace. It reminds me of San Francisco, but cleaner, modern, bigger and roomer. Since I've left the Marine Corps, being back home with my father and his family, I realize this is not the lifestyle I want, and I need to be out on my own. So, why not, the land Oz, prepare for me.

This is awesome, you should definitely do a degree in Australia. I currently study in Brisbane and want to do an exchange to California..!

If you have already applied you should get your acceptance offer in round 1 which is halfway through December, or round 3 which is halfway through January!

Good luck
