Question 12 Months and counting

Hi there, madly soaking up as much info as possible to try and make this waiting period not so tedious.. Anyone that knows me knows my patience level isn't that high...Thought love was meant to be easy..

Hi,

Waiting can be a lot to take in and there are lots of people here who have been waiting as well, but every person waiting time is different due to where it is lodged, information provided, and what papers they may be still be waiting on. Stay strong as love is worth it and never meant to be easy. Be positive and chat to people who are in the same boat as you and it will help you.

Love is the easy bit. The waiting terrifies me. We've also just passed 12 months, but being a Nigerian I've heard it can take 18 months? Let's hope that's all. Our first baby is due in July

My husband is Nigerian also but we applied from Malaysia as he is living there 8 years now. Before we got married he applied for a holiday visa in December 2015 and it was granted so I do think it depends who the case officer is looking a the case and information provided.. High risk countries take longer but hoping you get a answer soon.

I will be 15 months this Month (Dec) so I am not hopeful that they can grant the visa as they have more holidays this month.
