Hello to you all...

Hello one and all.

I did a search for Australian forums and this fine place took my fancy, so here I am.

My name is Tim, I'm married with 2 kids (9 and 7) and a dog called Saba (hence the user name).
After years of talking about shipping out of Scotland, we've finally decided to start proceedings. We are in the early stages of research at the moment as we are at least a couple of years away, as my wife is a student midwife so she has a year left to graduate and then she wants a years experience before we move.

I'm an environmental specialist for a quango in Scotland and would be looking for similar employment in Australia.

So that's a potted history, I shall now get on with reading, asking some (probably stupid) questions and am looking forward to getting to know you good folk.
