American in Australia

Hi! My girlfriend found this forum recently and I'm glad she did. Love the forum so far. I am in the process of getting an application together for Partner Visa 820 and I need all the help I can get!

Good luck

This is not an immigration advice

Hi Pxer

Welcome to the forum and we hope you find the site informative and helpful.

Perhaps you could keep us up to date with developments about your move to Australia?

Regards,

Mark

Thanks! Absolutely.
I'm applying onshore in Brisbane as I am already here. I arrived August 9 '12 on a Working Holiday visa, so it's expiring soon. I hope to lodge my application some time next month.
We've been together since July '11, but only living together since I arrived. So we registered our relationship to waive the 12 months.
I will post all my updates on this forum (:

Best of luck! Brisbane is great. I recently applied for offshore partner visa. Moving to brisbane early next year if all goes well!
