Phew - Application Sent

This is my first post here and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has posted tips and updates in this forum.

It has been an immense help over the past few months.

I submitted my application yesterday and it was received today. Will definitely keep this up to date and add any tips that I think might be helpful.

Hi missmontie,
We submitted on the same date by the sounds of it!
We're applying for a 309/100 partner visa in London. How about you?
It's such a relief to finally submit after months of collecting paperwork and filling forms but now the waiting is killing us hehe

Hi Jonno,
Sounds like it! We are also applying for the same visa - and yes the wait is now killing me too lol. We're on holiday in Adelaide at the moment and I keep getting up in the middle of the night to check my email - then remembering it was a bank holiday weekend so nothing was going to happen!
Where are you and your partner looking at moving to?
Lucy

Hi Lucy,
Yep, they were quick enough to take the payment but not in the informing you of where we're at in the process.
We're 50/50 as to whether we go to Sydney or Melbourne, i think it'll come down to flipping a coin.
What's your plan for Oz? If you're on facebook you can add me.
It'd be good to follow each other through the process seeing as we started at the same point.

Hi

While the government process of approval happens - please take some time to think about how your financial approval process will happen. Most people think they can take their good credit history in their current country and transfer that to Australia with them - BUMPOW!

Look into your options BEFORE you jump on the proverbial 10 pound fare
