Help my visa got rejected.

Hi I'm really need all the help I can get.

My second year visa got rejected last Wenesday which I was so surprised of because I thought we'd supplied load of evidence. In some cases more than other we knew on the farm that have been granted their second year.

I worked for a contractor to a farm and for piecework. We were given a piecework agreement under the company name YG berry. 61 days into our farming the company name changed to CS labour and we signed new contract but we're not given a copy.

My visa got rejected on the grounds that I didn't supply a piecework agreement for LS labour. I can see why they rejected because it looks like I worked for two companies even though it was all on the same farm

YG berries 61 day. Piecework agreement provided.
CS labour 30 days no piecework agreement.

I have to apeal now but can get hold of my contractor who was hard enough to get our farm evidence off when we worked on the farm, now he seems to have vanished.

I'm going to immigration this Friday to ask advice but thought I'd see is anyone else on here has had similar problem.

It is very frustrating as I know I have to pay even though I supplied a piecework agreement, wage slips from start to finish on the farm and the second year visa foam signing me off for my farm work of 91 days.

I don't understand cause so many others didn't get a copy when the company changed name but have had no problem getting their visas approved.

Hi Prpetros,

From what I understand, they refused your second working holiday visa?

Did they ask for extra information which you didn't supply?

When I applied for my 2nd WHV, they requested more information and proof that I had actually completed the full 3 months. I sent them bank statements covering the period I had worked there with wages going in and a declaration.

It doesn't matter how many places you worked, as long as you complete full 3 months.

Did they pay you directly into your bank account?

Best of luck,
Ramah

Hey Rahma.

When I first applied for the second year visa yes the asked for evidence to support my 3 months of work of which I attached all my pay slips, first piecework agreement and the final second year visa form which the contractor signed me off for my 91 days.

Yes I was paid into my bank, no cash in hand.

The reason for the refusal was due to not having a piecework agreement for LS Labour.

61 days I worked under the company name yg berry
30 days under the company name LS labour.

Basically the contractor changed the company name 61 days into my farming and didn't provide a piecework agreement with the new company name on it.

I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time with this visa.

Did you manage to speak to immigration for help at all?

I don't know if the laws have changed at all since I had my 2nd WHV granted in 2015 but back then it was sufficient enough for them to see bank statements and a job description. I never had a contract as such, it was all verbal.

I was in the same boat though as the guy I worked for declared bankruptcy shortly after I finished working there and he was impossible to get hold of after that. I explained that in a statement when I submitted my additional evidence.

It might be helpful to message one of the migration agents on this forum for some advice, they know these things inside out!

Hope it all works out!
