Lightbulb Hello...let me introduce myself

Hello Forum-entities,
I have been standing over the edge of the preciptous drop of my debut in Forum-life after having stumbled across this treasure-trove of pointers, guides and guru's of this garden of delights.

So hello to one and all you lovely people.

My austrian husband is submitting a Partner Visa application 309/100 to which I am looking into whether I can fulfill the Sponsorship obligations and qualify as an elegible sponsor.

I am UK born and an Australian Citizen, holding dual nationality (UK and Australia).
I left Australia in 1994 and lived in London, UK until that is I met my husband on holiday in Greece in 2001! We commuted between Vienna and London for 5 years, before I relocated to Vienna in 2006.
I have been living here as an EU citizen, as I have a UK passport. My circumstances here, however, are due to change in the next couple of years when the UK exits the EU. Oops. So I am not sure what my status here is likely to be going forward.

We married in Australia with my family in 2011 and since then have been trying to get the funds and navigate the immigration process so we can move together to Australia.

Unfortunately, we are now both unemployed in Vienna, but my brother is willing to lend us the money for the move back home. We have 2 nieces and a nephew over there we are dying to meet finally in person. I am hesitant to submit the application until I have a bit more clarity on the sponsorship question however as it isn't our money at stake but my brothers, and we only have one shot at this.

So a rather long hello, but hope you forgive me my wordiness

Sunshine and twinkles from
our door to yours
Sopharia

Hello everyone!

I am an Aussie and have just moved back to Sydney with my French partner after I lived in France for nearly nine years.
I am currently trying to get my head around what we'll need for the 801 visa application before the time come so up in the beginning of October 2017.
I'm already finding it very hard to find out what we need!
😀

Hello Ladies and Gents,

If you use the search mechanism here for a particular Visa you will find some pretty awesome information and experiences. Gparis, my partner and I did the PMV300 a little different, but the paperwork content similar, my suggestion is to work through the process slowly, use the Visa 801 Checklist as a guide. It is a total mind bomb at the start, but if I can do it anyone can . Again have a good read in the different threads here. Sopharia I can not answer yours, there is a sticky threat here 'ASK MARK' try a shortened version of your question, alternatively speak to Australian Embassy there.
