Smile Croatia says: Hi :)

Hi.

My name is Matej, like the title says, from Croatia. IT engineer, currently styudying to become a professor in the IT field. Big fan of Australia(people, land, beaches, sun... everything except spiders and snakes )

Situation in Croatian made me to think about moving somwhere else. First choice was obviously Australia. I will probably apply for the skilled independed visa in a year-year and a half when my masters is finished.

Happy to be here.

Matej

Hi Matej,

From my stand point I would gladly recommend to migrate.
I have a lot of friends migrated from Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina to Australia and I get only strong positive feedback about life, job and pleasure of living (all working IT or Telecommunications).

I have gone through the process and waiting for final results for 189 subclass (as an Telecommunications Engineer with strong IT background).

IT industry is at strong point in Australia right now and job could be easy to find. Only thing is to be persistent and follow through if you decide to apply. And as you can see demand on migrants for IT and Telco related jobs is strong and there are limited number of places every year for those migrants.

Good luck anyway.

Hi Matej,

Welcome to this forum
&
Welcome to the migration journey to Australia.

The honest thing is by the one to one and half years when your Ms will be finished, the opportunity you are calculating might not stay. Don't be dis-hearted. That's the aussi migration reality.

So always keep in touch with the updates.

thanks
