Smile Want to live in Australia

Hello :-) My name is Grady and I'm American and I've wanted to move to Australia for a few years. I only recently started really looking into it and have found that it's rather difficult to get a Visa for someone like me :-( I look forward to chatting with you guys.

I'm American and I live in Australia. Go to the government website and do the 'visa wizard'. That will help you.

I filled something out on a site yesterday (Sorry, I've looked at about 200 sites about this in a few day, so I don't remember the site) and they send me an email saying i would be denied if I applied for a visa because I'm disabled.... that sounds so incredibly harsh. I'm just wondering if there is a way around this?

do the visa wizard. read everything carefully, and do it this way and that. sometimes it will return, ' we can't find a visa for you' but start again, read carefully, then do it another way. How are you disabled? If you have brain skills I don't think it will stand in your way- Australia is has socialised medicine, so most migrants have to wait a long time to access that system. I'm not sure how it works with regards to that. Good luck to you

I didn't know you could do the wizard more than once. Thanks for telling me :-) I am disabled by bi-polar and chronic back pain.

You can do it as many times as you want and you can plug in different scenarios. To me it seems like you might have trouble with the medical part but I have no idea how people that need medications or dr. care do that if they're not in the medicare system but there must be a way because I read that some migrants have to wait 4 year or something like that before getting medicare, so they must have something. Good luck to you
