Hello.. Yes please, I need help! Our immigration agent suggests we get a lawyer but I cannot afford to pay rent let alone afford a lawyer! So maybe some info, insight or advice?? .. I just joined and made my first post just a few minutes ago which has the whole story.. But I'll try tell it again briefly..
On 6th Oct 2017, my finance Johan went to the Netherlands for a month to see his family.. He couldn't board his return flight home as he didn't have a valid RRV..
We hired an agent and RRV was applied for as well as AFP check..
The application was with our case manager at VACCU for 6 months then given to the Delegate (decision maker) on 26th of May 2018..
We on occasion ask our immigration agent to ask VACCU for an update ( he is reluctant as he says the immigration dept are sensitive and pushing them could slow things down even further..) but when we do get a reply it's always the same..
"We cannot provide any information only that Mr Willems case is our highest priority. I have made the decision maker aware of the severe hardship your client, his finance and children are enduring and as soon as there is an outcome you will be notified by email".
Is there anything we can do?

If a skilled visa get refused due to a visa overstay. Would that mean that every other inquiry would be refused?

We are opting to file without the help of migration officer to save...i was told that it would cost us an arm and a leg. So we are trying on our own.
