Hi everyone please I need an advice with de facto visa

Please I need a sincere advice on what to do. Is it a most that I have to live with my partner for 12 months before I can apply for de facto visa? But we have been in a relationship for over a year now before we decided to move in together we also have lived together for 6 months now is that okay for me to apply? Thanks
