Bridging visa A

Hi,
My husband just came to realise yesterday that his bridging visa A has an expiration date effective in two days. When grant letter was issued there was no expiry date.We are stressed not knowing what options are available to use to be able to stay in the country as he has only be called once for biometrics appointment and never for a verbal interview. No email received to notify expiry date was attached and was only aware of this through an employment agency.
