Lightbulb OzNOY ask

hello, New to this forum. I find this forum very helpful and informative at some extent hence, i joined to gather more information and understand the complexities of diff visas. Im still on a student visa ( which expires on 2020/3 while waiting for my partner visa ( spousal) to take effect. However, I have a inactive Bridging Visa A since we lodge our application Nov 2018.

Has anyone here on same shoe?
Did you notice on your bridging visa A ( inactive status)? but, it has a statement there that if you leave the country it will cancel the BVA?

Can someone here elaborate this further ... because Im planning to go overseas this year and Im under the impression that " I dont need to worry" as Im still on active student visa. I find it weird how can an Inactive BVA get cancelled if you leave the country.. Hmmmmm?

Any thoughts?
