Wait until married??

Hi there, I’m new to this forum so hope you’re all well. I’ll come straight to the point...My Girlfriend & I get married Christmas’20 & we’ve been talking about applying for Permanent Res Visa. As she is a highly skilled Nurse it wouldn’t be a problem for her to get the required Visa. My question is, would it be better applying before or after the wedding, as her last name will be different...can she alter her last name halfway through the Visa process?? Thank you

The visa application will be in the name that is on the passport.

New passport details, with new name, can be uploaded during process, to update the application name.

We did this halfway through a partner visa application.
