Hi All,

Just started the process with my partner (she's from Germany). So currently she's here on an ETA but a bridging Visa has been granted (so all the forms have been completed and filed). Finding the whole acceptance/supporting evidence (pics & statements etc) quite challenging all things considered at the moment. She's still under the ETA until June when the bridging VISA takes over. We met through a dating site online back in September and really clicked so here we are.

One thing I'm wondering about is the social media aspect I don't have a presence at all on social media (well a linkedin account but we're friends on that and I don't post or use it really) and she doesn't use one either. Is this a negative? Should we set something up & use it for the process?
We're in a bit of a different situation, we've known each other since September and registered a relationship as of March with Births, Deaths & Marriages (helps to build a case and is one of the criteria when DeFacto wasn't an option before she moved here). Once her bridging visa kicks in she expects to start looking for work as it would allow, again COVID-19 had different ideas there too.

I guess I'm looking for pointers on how to go about it or any suggestions or advice from experience. She's got an immigration agent who was highly recommended/rated by the Immigration Office but we're still at a bit of a loss ourselves with it all, she's a lovely woman but sometimes leaves us wondering what's going on/what's needed or expected (and I can be a little bit blunt so it's frustrating to not have an answer to a question asked hah!).
I was considering running up and hosting a blog of our adventures somewhere and we could add to that regularly to count towards a diary of our lives together?

Any advice/comments greatly appreciated.

If I'm supposed to post this somewhere else please let me know.

Cheers
