Thumbs up G'Day Mates! Jill and Stacey here!

Hey guys!

Our names are Jill and Stacey and we recently moved to Australia (October 9th, 2009 to be exact!) to travel around Australia and shoot a reality travel webseries called Jill and Stacey Do the Roo! We have already travelled up the East Coast and are currently airing episodes from that trip! Watch along as we meet our first Eastern Brown Snake while on a bush tour, see if stacey jumps off a 30 foot cliff, and laugh along as we both attempt to learn how to surf....well.......more like wiping out 101!

In April we are heading south to check out Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth! Then in July we will be heading out to the Red Center to experience all that the beautiful Outback has to offer, we can't wait!!

As travellers we have experienced a lot in just a short amount of time but are always willing to share our experiences and give any advice we may have! We are excited to meet other travellers on this forum and hope that you guys will check out our site

Hi Jill and Stacey, sounds like you're having a blast and where did you take surfing lessons? 1770? supposed to be cheapest on east coast and not too crowded either, kind of my home beach.
For beaches though, get out to an island, even Moreton or North or South Stradbroke Islands, Keppel Island if you're still up north and all reasonably cheap to get to.

Did you catch those prism shaped rock rod like extrusions in the Burleigh Heads NP? and the lookouts are a great place to spot a whale in season, they sometimes coming in close to Tallebudgra/currumbin Bay and pity is, that a gfew get caught up in Shark nets but most get released.
When you're heading south, do make sure of the south coast of NSW for some great idyllic small towns and national parks if you like camping and you can mix in some of the Alpine region too; heading out of Sydney, wend your way down into the Royal National Park for a coastal drive that'll blast you away.
NZ, you'll enjoy too for all that it's different for.

Not too many people front up on this section re posting after their own intro, but don't be shy which it doesn't seem you are.
