Question A BIG Hi to all the good ppl out there!!!

Hey!!!

I am Sher, 27yrs old and I live with my parents in India. I joined this site to get some help on a visa matter.

Now lemme tell u wat it's all about. My boyfriend is in Australia, working there...and we are madly in love with the Grace of God... We plan to get married soon, but he wants to apply for a proposed marriage visa to have me there with him. I have sent him my p/p copy and my educational certificates. He asked me to send a declaration....this is where I'm totally confused. Can any of you help me on what this is and its contents. Should I get it signed by any authoritative person? Does any of you have a sample letter to show me what it must contain?

What other formalities is there for this kind of visa?? Please help me guyzzz....I need it now...

Thank you all and GOD BLESS!!!!

Sher

Hi Sher,

If you would like to apply for a partner visa, your boyfriend is referring to a statement about the history of your relationship. Click here http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/booklets/1127.pdf and go to page 38 and onwards to read about what you need to write about in your statement. The whole document will help you with understanding the entire application so it is worth reading. Remember if you are not in Australia, you will need to make the application in your country of residence.
Good luck

Welcome to the forum Princess,
royalty will not help too much though and first thing that is needed is for your Bf to at least have Permanent Residency in Australia.

You need to apply for the visa and he is the Sponsor.

Have a look at the eligibility and applying for this visa sections on Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300) , the Booklet #1 as mentioned by Cosbo a good guide too.

You'll find a Checklist in the applying section.
