Hi from the Limestone Coast

Hi everyone,

My name is Karen and I moved to South Australia (the Limestone Coast) from the UK in July 2007. We came over on a skilled independent visa with my husband as main applicant.

Luckily we moved here before the change in the citizenship rules so we only had to be here for 2 years before applying for citizenship. We sat the citizenship exam in January and have the ceremony in March.

We love being here even though it's a long way from family.

Regards,
Karen

Good that you're enjoying Oz Kaz and at least in SA you're also a long way from rain most times.
Adelaide Hills, all the way from Barossa through to Victor Harbour offer plenty of get aways with the red or white stuff.

Yeah it's amazing that we were let in since we hardly drink at all and know nothing about wine (yet ). Our local wine region is at Coonawarra which is only an hour or so away.
