hi...spouse visa -doubts

hi... i'm chella from India.My boyfriend stay in Australia with temporary resident visa(unsure about the class)and we are planning to get married by may.Can he take his spouse to Australia after getting married in Indai.he went there in nov 2006 and he finished his MS for two years and then after two and half years he extended his stay there by applying for TR visa.he is having his TR visa till may 2011.So could you please let me know whether he can take his wife there or he has to file applications that he is engaged.could you please help me friends

It does depend on the visa that he is on and from what you say it could be a 485 visa - Skilled – Graduate (Temporary) visa (subclass 485)
There are eligibility requirements that need to be met for family members with that visa, listed under eligibility section.

Thank you for your kind reply.yeah he has VC485 tr visa with condition 8501.If you could get further information regarding this pls do inform me.
