Canadian - applying for Prostective Marriage Visa

Hello everyone
I am a Canadian woman and I am in process of applying for a PMV. The first step I have to undergo is to get my divorce here in Canada finalized. (will take 6-8 weeks) My fiance is coming across in October and we are sort of hoping that my daughter and I will be going back with him. I was just in Oz for a wonderful 6 weeks. My fiance and I did meet online so this was our first face to face meeting and I must admit it was magical and we fell completely in love. My best friend joined me for two weeks and she also fell in love with Australia and she is now in the process of applying for a work visa. I think the process may be long and frustrating, but will be worth it in the end!!!!!

Yes, good luck with that, a bit of work ahead of you both as I've indicated on your other thread.
If your friend is under 31, not married, no children etc., a Working Holiday Visa in first instance may suit and that's a lot quicker.
