Welcome

Morning,
I'm new here and simply wanted to say 'hi' to everyone, so here it is: HI and already I do have some questions on my mind. It would be great to get some feedback from you guys.
So.. anyone living in the sunny Australia? and how's the life looks like there Down Under? As for me, generally I'm thinking intensively about moving to Australia and quite frankly I reckon I have a good background when it comes for obtaining Skilled Migrant visa. The only thing is that there is a small problem and it is called IELTS. Anyone knows is it possible to get a visa/permission for work not having IELTS passed? I mean for example can I move to Australia with the tourist visa in my pocket only and then while being there lodge the application for SM visa (or different one which in result will open for me the door for employment)?
Cherio from (surprisingly) sunny Wroclaw, Poland!

Hi there and hope you're keeping the feet dry at the moment.
You'll find plenty of info in the Visas&Immigration section and it's not so easy as getting a further visa once you are in Australia on a tourist visa for they can likely have what is called a No Further Stay condition applied and that'll prevent you from applying for a further visa.
IELTS is just one of the eligibility requirements and it'll pay to look at links in the V&I section or via Workers - Visas & Immigration
