Finally getting around to residency

Hi all,

I am Dave. I stumbled across this website today and found it highly useful and informative, thanks for all the information you have posted.

I have been in Australia for 11 years now and am only, finally, just getting around to PR through the partner process with the second stage information sent back last week.

During the past 11 years I have had e-visas, visa extensions, a 417, couple of 457's and now and 820 ahead of an 801...so, if I can help provide answers in any way about visas or Australia I would be happy to try.

Cheers
Dave

Welcome to the forum Dave.
That must be near something of a record Dave, here 11 years and still not quite yet PR, but the 4I7/457s do allow that to happen, more easily in the past than now but feel free to contribute to anything you like.

Gday Dave,

Crikey, you have seen it all just about.
Good luck with your permanent residency.

Cheers,
Adrian
