hi,
just came here to get some advice and help for some friends from overseas.
looking forward to them hopefully get PR soon, but all these new rules and laws and amendments aren't good

i will start a new thread elsewhre when i get my posts up.

Hi bc and I've responded to your post re visas.
In a nutshell new regulations were direly needed for the old ones provided such an easy path to PR that was quickly realised by people looking to make money out of it as well as applicants themselves, that Australia has already had a huge influx of students arriving with the sole intention of gaining PR.
Many of these people are having difficulty getting work and that is just one issue.

So as bad as new regulations may be for some, thay are good for the country.
