Talking Canadians and Americans and tigers, oh my!

Hi all!

I'm a Canadian, currently in Australia on a 457 visa (I also had a Working Holiday at one point). I met my American partner here, and as her visa will expire soon, we're looking into adding her to my visa instead (at least while she looks for a new job).

It seems like there's a lot of great advice on offer here! I think I'll be asking some questions soon. And I'm also happy to share my own experience with the WHV and 457 visa application process.

Hi amk and you'll see in the table on Employer Sponsored Workers (e457) - Online Applications a link for a 457 secondary visa and they being TR, you may find the evidence re a partner is somewhat less stringent than if you were a PR sponsoring a partner.
