Hey Im a Australian citizen and my BF is from Wales were I was originally from I met him in Wales while I was on holiday visiting my family i only met him my last 5 days so I had to go home and leave him we stayed in contact with Skype everyday until he came over to stay with me for 3 months then I moved back to Wales with him and have been here for nearly 7 months. We have been together a year now and would have lived together for a year in December so thats when we are going to apply for the Defacto Visa.

Nothing like the Green green grass of home eh Hawks and I remember a great BBC series about families in a Welsh coal mining town - How Green Was My Valley if I remember correctly.
We'll not hold yours or his Welsh ancestory against you but geez, if we could do something for Julia!, but then she did turn to communism!
Hope all goes well with the visa and future.

Sorry Hawks, missed your second post and as to things a family and friends should write, that ought to be what they know off you both personally and as a couple.
. how long known, stable person, sensible etc.
. knowledge of you meeting your Bf, him if met
. times when seeing both, sense/indication of you as a couple
It need not be too lengthy and more to the point and though different people may cover the same points, their knowledge may come from different associations and so they ought not be too close to being carbon copies.
