Hi from Cambridge, UK

Hi Everyone,

I'm needing some TLC so thought I'd join this forum. I'm 44 living near Cambridge, England and missing my Aussie fiancee like crazy.

My PMV is in and we are trying to wait patiently for it to come through. All medicals and police checks were done at the beginning of February. We realise it's supposed to take 9 months from application (it was in end of October 2013) but we're hoping for some good news and that it happens sooner.

I can't wait to start my new life with her in Brisbane although we are planning on coming back to the UK at some point to live for awhile as well.

Looking forward to reading all the advice and seeing what's generally happening in regard to the PMV's and the timescales.

All the best and I hope you all have a great Easter break
Mark

Is your fiancee Claire by any chance?

On another note the UK processes their applications in 8-9 months and they seem to stick to it. Occasionally you still see one done before 8 months but they are very far between.

You just have to sit back and wait and the co will let you know when the decision has been made. You won't hear anything from the co unless they need something or the decision has been made.
