457 Visa - new member

Hi everyone,

Great forum with lots of information. I thought I'd share my situation. I'm in the process of applying for a 457 visa, it was logged through a migration agent at the start of April. My employer's sponsorship and right to recruit was granted really quickly, it took less than a week - which was good. I've not anything regarding my application since, of course it's been only a short while, 4 weeks thus far, however my migration agent told us it would take inky 2 - 4 weeks. Just wondered what other people's experience is and was? the application is for myself and my de facto partner.

I travel to / from Australia for work once / twice a year and have previously loved there, around 10 years ago - I entered the country on a working holiday visa and then applied for PR with a different company sponsoring me - it took 4.5 years for the dept of immigration to say no (this time included one appeal), so I'm hoping it doesn't take this long again!

Would welcome any off your experiences!

Thanks for reading,
Ned
