Hey, iv been following this forum for a while as Im waiting for my visa
I applied through London,
Im originally from Poland, living in Ireland for the past few years

You're welcome and feel free to contribute or ask questions in the visa section or elsewhere if you have queries, there being a lot of people in Australia who have at some stage emigrated from both Poland and Ireland or descendants of those here.

As I said I'm waiting for my partner visa I applied for in 26th October 2010-London office, I went through all important steps, including my interview ( 17 th of December) and iv been told that I should expect my visa in march...
I'm not sure if this going to happen, and id like to visit my boyfriend in April ( as I'm a student in Ireland till June 2011), we have seen each other for the Christmas for about two weeks, he visited me this time
My question is:is it possible to apply for some sort of visa allowing me short visit in Australia, before ill get my partner visa?Or may this effect the whole process?I don't know what to do?
