do I need 2 visas????

Hi everyone,

I am planning on moving to austrailia next year and would like to apply a for permanent visa as a skilled worker under section 189. However I have read this type of application can take up to 18 months to process, and ideally i would like to move before then.

Therefore is it possible to apply for a temporary working visa as well as a permanent visa, so that I can move over while my permanent visa is being processed?

any feedback would be greatly apprecated!

Thanks
