Yacht Crew

Hi Guys,

I am cruising solo and am looking for crew. My current plan is to hang around Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast maybe Sydney (and coast in between) until early next year (once Cyclone season passes) then head up the East Coast of Oz and around to Darwin then over to Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam. Not sure how long I will hang around Asia, but then maybe head for the Med. There is up to 2 spots available, both with small private rooms and a shared bathroom. Will take it slow and stop and check out the sights along the way and see what adventure and fun can be found.

No need to commit to any specific time, just as long as we are all getting on and enjoying the adventure, all good. There may be short periods where I will need to have you leave the boat, if I have other visitors or my work schedule intensifies.

The boat is a safe and well equipped ocean going 67í sailing catamaran. She is rigged up with full dive/fishing gear (which are my favourite pastimes) so will be plenty of diving and catching fish. She has been in Vanuatu for a while so needs some maintenance work so you may get your hands dirty every once in a while.

I prefer female crew (not so much beer, mess, ego etc and they are usually actually tougher, must be a child birth thing. You donít need any specific sailing experience, but need to be able to be at sea without getting too seasick, be resilient, healthy and active, I can teach you the rest.

I am a relaxed 39 year old guy. I am not a big drinker or partier, so if you are looking for party time, best to hang in hostels Good meals, a few beers, good company and plenty of adventure on the ocean is the plan. Cooking, cleaning shared between us all. (I like cooking anyhow), and when doing miles standing 3 hr watches (I will teach you what you need to know).

So looking for some cool, like minded people to share an adventure with. You can bail any time and the room/ride is free. Just contribute to the day to day stuff.

Email me at [email protected] if your keen.

Cheers,

Nate
