Greetings!

Hello,

I am a new member but have been browsing this extremely useful website as I am planning to migrate to Australia in the near future.

My girlfriend and I hope to move to Oz as soon as we are eligible. We are both American citizens and my partner is planning to attend the University of Melbourne to pursue her PhD. I am completing my final year at a University where I will earn an engineering degree.

My partner will likely be applying for the student visa and should have little problems acquiring this. I originally planned to seek the Skilled-Recognised Graduate Visa (476), but have heard that this takes quite some time to process.

We are in the beginning stages of this process and any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, my partner has a cat that she is planning to bring so any help in that area would be awesome (she loves her cat!).

I'm excited to move to Australia and the challenges that will come, especially immigration. Glad to have finally joined!

Cheers!
