Finally Joined a multinational forum

Hi Guys

I am from Papua New Guinea (PNG as it is known in short) and I live in Mandurah (1hr drive from Perth), Western Australia.

I first came to Australia in Oct 2008, as an accompanying spouse (457 Visa) and was immediately able to work (Electrical Engineer). In April 2010, my company sponsored me on the 457 to be the primary holder as my husband had uncertaines about his job. The process took less than a month as we had all documents in hand and were assisted by a migration agent belonging to the company.

In Dec 2010 I asked my company to sponsor my PR and we started the process etc. Finally Lodged the 121/856 on 17 Jun 11, I have posted my timeline in the timeline page so now have my fingers cross.

Its nice to meet you all and I would be glad for any advise regarding medicare/childcare/buying a house etc, so please feel free to comment.
