Smile Regarding 487 Visas

I am new Member, just posting first thread. I am on Bridging Visas A due to application for Subclass 487 Provisional Regional Sponshorship. Just wondering what are my options if I wish to apply within Sydney itself for Permanent Residency. My application is still under process. Lawyers say that I cannot apply for any other visas while I am on Bridging Visa A. I am still trying to score 7 bands each in IELTS, what if I fortunately score 7 bands and would like to apply for PR under new points test system by cancelling the existing application and re-access my MIS Degree, as I would also benefit from Regional Sponsorship Points as per new points system. Will I be benefited as per new points test system, would I be eligible to cancel my existing application and file for a new application for PR within Sydney itself. Or is it only 175 Visas is the only option left for me?

Please Help... This new points test system is confusing the existing applicants. I am very stressed and don't know what to do. Any advice is highly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance
