Hi RRV What are my chances?

Hi I am new here and hoping to get some help and advice.

I left Australia in 2006 after being given a 3 month RRV. I was there for 7 months after which I left to get married. I am now planning to go back and thinking of applying for an RRV. I plan to stay there permanently and apply for a visa for my spouse. I have a sister who lives in Sydney. What does the department of immigration look at when applying for an RRV? Any advice apprecaited.
