Where to start?

Hi,

Firstly thanks for the site. This is just what I've been looking for.

As with most people on here I have always dreamed of making the move Down-Under from a young age. Now, a few years on, I need to start making this a reality.

Currently I am an Avionics Technician in the Royal Air Force and serving a 22 year contract. I have 6 years left and would like to complete this however; I will be 44 when I leave. I don't want to leave everything until last minute or too late. At the moment I really haven't got a clue as where to start (jobs, areas, etc).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Dylan
