Family Man Looking to Come Home

Hi Everyone

I'm an Australian who has been living in China for about 6-7 years. I met a wonderful person and after a few years with her got married and a few years later had a beautiful little girl. I love living in China and honestly prefer it to Australia. If I had real career prospects and were single I would stay forever.

However, life is never that simple. My mother recently divorced and is now on her own to look after my brother on her own. At the same time, a major Chinese city is a terrible place to raise a little girl, particularly if you aren't rich and speak mostly English at home. So for everyone's sake, I'd like to come back to Australia.

I've seen many threads here where people share their experiences with migrating to Australia and it is much more helpful than anything from the department of immigration. I hope that I can learn a lot from everyone and in return share my experiences after I apply!

Hi.

I have also spent so much time on this forum and basically I think the main objective is proving your relationship is legitimate.

Your relationship story makes it clear that it is legitimate

I know there is much more to an application, but that main point I think is what they are looking for.

I'm sure you will find all the advice/help you need in the forums here though. I have yet to ask a question (yet!) because all had been answered by other posts

Good luck!
