I have had no luck trying to find a clear answer between whether I should go to a public notary here in Singapore to certify documents or whether I only have to upload to immi account and colour scan original documents, passport, birth cert, etc without them being certified?

Does anyone have any experience getting certified copies of documents for visa application in Spain? I am under the impression that they must be done by a Notario, but this could be very expensive? If anyone has any experience with this it would be a great help!
