I am just wondering what happens if a visitor visa (with 8503 condition) expires and the applicant who lodged offshore 309 before, wants to lodge a bridging visa to stay in Australia until 309 is granted ? I assume bridging visa is not a substantive visa so the applicant can lodge it (?)
