I'm still waiting as well. Lodged since 08/03, occupation is Accountant (General), but as far as I'm concerned, Accountants and Engineers have been removed from PMSOL list, so it might take longer than usual, especially with standard sponsors like my case.

My status is "Received" btw. Medical has been completed but the employer nomination yet to approve.

It depends my friend. In some cases, both nomination and application approve together at the same time.

In my case, its been 8 months since my employer nomination has been applied and im in 6th month since the visa application applied. I have a gut feeling that both nomination and application will be approved at the same time. Fingers crossed though.

And yes we do need nomination to be approved first to get the visa grant letter. Without approved nomination means, visa has been rejected.
