Some people are getting their grants within 5 months and some are waiting from the last 7 months and even an year. I know different factors involved but come on, how long it would take to pick the case of those people whom are waiting for months. frustrating

I might be wrong though but I have a feeling that we would all get our grants around 10th and 11th month mark or even 9. Fingers crossed though. I was thinking to give a call to DHA, I know what they will say but it wouldn't hurt a try. I applied through migration agent but still will call DHA on coming Tuesday as Monday is public holiday.

I'm not sure about DHA public holidays, but when I was there in Australia (13 years), then public holidays were only considered 25th and 26th of December for the rest of us.

Anyhow, does anybody know any recent grants for 186?

I remember one girl from here at this platform, named Shika, she got her grant in exact 4 months. Even though her sponsor was non accredited, but I think her occupation was in PMSOL. Now DHA took PMSOL out. How lucky she was

I'm not sure about DHA public holidays, but when I was there in Australia (13 years), then public holidays were only considered 25th and 26th of December for the rest of us.

This year is a bit different, as Christmas day is a Sunday, already a day off, so they postpone it.


We actually get 2 Christmas days this year.

Not sure why Wednesday is listed in the one I looked at.

Happy new year to every one. Yes I hope every one will get their grants sooner in early this year 2023.
I am just hoping that everyone will get their grants by April. It just around the corner guys, just a little wait more.

I hope so man. We all hope that DHA start working on skill visa processing times more efficiently this year as most of us have been waiting for ages now. Life has been paused at this stage. All we can do, is hope and trying to stay positive in all these painful months.

That's great to hear!! I applied for Accountant (General) as well! May I ask whether your company is a professional company or a commercial company? As my one is not in accounting professional services. They need an in-house financial analyst and agreed to sponsor so I applied.
