My company submitted my application in January 2022 for my 186 (As well as my family). We managed to get our Medical clearance in May, and just transitioned into the Bridging visa. This does create a bit of anxiety for the elder kids since I can't get them into Uni without huge deposits, and the bridging visa also cause concerns getting admissions from the ones we tried to contact. The estimated days shows that it can take up to 900 days (!!!), but this mean I am putting a lot of things on hold due to this uncertainty. Did anyone else got the 186 TRT finalized in less than a year recently? I guess I am just looking for some hope here. And don't get me started with my lease on my property :(

@Ben Bear Also in the same boat. My company submitted their nomination in December 2021 which was finally approved in November 2022. One day later receivied an email requesting more information for our visa application (which I submitted in March 2022). Seems like it's taking about 11-12 months for them to get round to looking at nominations.

My nomination JUST got approved. Hopefully the visa will go through soon.

Anyone in a similar position to me? Applied for 186 TRT early-April 2022. Onshore. Non-accredited Sponsor. I'm not sure if the Assessing Authority makes a difference. Mine is AIM for GM / CEO role. Thanks in advance.

I applied in March 2022 for 186 TRT from 482, and prior to that I was on a 457. I’m onshore. I’ve heard nothing.

Any news on where they’re up to with processing, as in month and year?

I did my medical in March last year too.

Mine was granted last week. It took over 13 months total. I am sure yours is around the corner. Was your company nomination approved yet?

Nomination hasn’t been approved yet.

It’s soo frustrating as I was first granted my 457 back in 2016 🤦‍♀️ but due to terrible employers i found a new sponsorship and then changing from 457 to 482 and then Covid 😂 My goodness I have earnt PR as we all deserve it.

I work for a wonderful company now but it would be nice knowing I can buy a home freely and get a loan for a new car.

I see some applications from early March 2022 being approved now. Yours should happen very soon. Stay positive!
