Hi All,

I submitted my 189 VISA form including my wife on 27 Feb 2017 through an agent. But my wife was pregnant during the visa process so had to asked the CO to put aside till the baby born.

1 OCT 2017, I send the filled 1022 form,Certified copies of Birth certificate, Passport and Photo of the baby to agent to include the the baby into the VISA. the agent sent me the confirmation of sending the documents to the department the day itself

Now It is almost 40 days gone and no-reply from the department.

But I noticed that the agent had not uploaded the docs through the ImmiAccount, I believe he has sent it to the department instead.

Is this OK ? I mean what is the right procedure ? Usually how long this takes ?

Would you please let me know how long it took DIBP to finally get back to you?
I am currently in the same situation where I uploaded form 1022, and my kid's passport and birth cert on 05 Jan 2018. Now it has been 40 days and no response, and was wondering how long it is supposed to take.

I am not applying through an agent, and the CO specifically asked me to upload the documents to my immi account.
