My Australian partner submitted her sponsor application around a month ago and it's still only showing up as 'Submitted' on the IMMI site. My applicant submission changed to 'Received' only a day or so after I submitted it.

Yes, it is not unusual.

As CCMS has said, yes it is usually the case.

I am the sponsor for my partners PMV 300, and I am actually already approved, and it still shows submitted. So nothing to worry about
