Congrats on getting 309 visa.

When you applied for Partner Visa subclass 309, you actually applied for
subclass 100 at the same time. After getting 309 visa, you will be granted a permanent Partner visa (subclass100) 2 years after you initially applied for your Partner visa, If you continue to meet all legal requirements.

A case officer will contact you for further actions as 2-year period approaches, it is wise to contact them if you haven't heard anything when the time is close.

Good luck to your move to Down Under.

Yes, just get on with life as you will and you'll find some general info @ Citizenship & Living in Australia
No real need for you to be concerned on contacting Immi for you'll be registered in the system and the computer will spit out the paperwork for you when the time is right.
There are various questions that will be asked to ascertain you are still in a relationship and so it'll be a good reference if you keep something of a diary and documentation for any key events.
