A 457 visa is only available if you are sponsored by an employer who has qualified to be able to sponsor applicants for this visa. The employer can be located anywhere in Australia - no geographical limitations.
Generally the employer must either be already qualified to sponsor applicants for the 457 visa (already qualified as a Standard Business Sponsor) or must go through the qualification process first before being able to then nominate and sponsor 457 visa applicants.
So "any business" won't work - the business needs to be a qualified sponsor or go through the process of qualifying.
Hi Mr. Northam. I just want to clarify that the experienced in teaching tertiary level different from the experience in teaching at pre school / secondary school? Or during the evaluation of the papers, experienced doesn't matter which level as long as it is in teaching experience? Thank you
