i applied within Australia in Queensland, they received my application dec 13, 2017 at the sydney office, just wondering if anyone else applied within Australia around the same time and if they have any updates yet!

461 visas are taking 6 months to a year. Just be patient. If you google "global processing times" you find a link the processing times website.

We lodge our application May 2017 and still haven't heard anything from them , called them mid of feb and ask the processing time they said it's 15 - 23 months I was shock cause last time we lodge ours the processing time is 9months.

Hi rwihongi, I lodged my application on May 2017 in Melbourne too, but haven't heard anything. I check processing time is 11 - 15 months now. How about you ?

Still haven't heard from them. I'm on a bridging visa b now and out of Australia to give birth here in NZ , hoping to hear the good news when we get back.

Hi Lauren, when did you applied ? I applied from Melbourne 31st May last year but haven't had any response. Last week I call the home affair office they say waiting time is 11 - 15 months now and They cant let me know which month they are processing now because it depends on the state.
So no particular answer has been given.

yeah, they never give any reasons or info - i just check the processing times every day, hoping they update it to a shorter time frame.
I applied on 20 June 2017 in Sydney.
I've heard so many rumours that they're not looking at any applications until the new financial year!

Processing time is too long for 461 visa.. im waiting from last 15 months and here are few more people who r waiting from last 16-17 months.

Hi, I’m a Japanese citizen and am living in QLD. I have applied my renewal 461 in middle of July.
I know my prosessing time is 12-15 months but most of people didn’t hear anything from the officer, that is so shocked.
My current 461 visa is expired in 11/10/18.
I have my bridging visa A already so I can stay with that visa after my current visa had expired.
I applied as a single applicant this time, I broken up my kiwi ex boyfriend 4 years ago.

I hope someone lodged your 461 earlier than me can hear good news from immigration office.
And I would like to share my news to this forum if it is helpful to someone who is same situation as me.
