Hi,
I am a New Zealander living in Australia. My partner is from Vietnam and is currently living there. We are wanting to apply for a 461 Visa.
We met when she came over to study in Australia and were together here for 8 months and lived together for 3 of them (we didn't share a lease but had a housemate who we paid).
We realise living together for 3 months doesn't meet the de facto relationship criteria so we plan on getting married in Vietnam to overcome the time requirements.
Proof of our relationship includes emails, facebook chat, photos, a joint account (that doesn't get used often) and times where I sent her money.
Is this enough proof to prove we are in a lasting and genuine relationship?
Thank you for your help.
