Hi guys, we have submitted our 47SP form and had the bridging visa returned. We submitted an online one and completed the 4 sections about financial, social, household etc and i was wondering, now that we are uploading documents, do we need to submit ANOTHER stat dec documenting these things and does my partner (sponsor) have to submit one too?

No you don't need to submit another stat dec.

Has your sponsor filed out their online form? That has the same 4 sections for your partner to fill in.

If you answered the narrative boxes within the app, then that is the statement. No need to do an extra one.

The sponsor has an online application to do as well and that also contains the narrative boxes for them to answer in their own words.

Thanks guys, my sponsor is filling out his form this weekend.

Does he need to open his own Immi account in order to do the 40SP or does he do it via my account??

Is there anything else other than the uploading of documents that needs to be done once his 40SP form goes in?

Oh and is it wise to keep on gathering evidence as we go through the months awaiting word from immigration?

It doesn't matter if it's the same immi account or a new one. Some people choose to keep uploading evidence every 3 or 6 months but make sure you upload the stuff you'll be assessed on (so prior to app date) as soon as possible.
