Hi Everyone,
I am a 482 Medium visa holder. In May it will come totally 3 years for me to stay in Australia, so I am considering lodging a 186 application. There are several respects which are quite abnormal,
1, my original sponsor is quite a complicated one who is interlocking shareholding with my current sponsor.
2, because of the COVID-19, I was only paid with 3 months in Australia(for which I have got the payslip) and 6 months in other countries as my original sponsor is a transnational business group.
3, My position is General manager(111211), my sponsors are in WA and Queensland, but most of the time I stayed in Melbourne with my family because of COVID-19, WA is always with hard broader.
4, My second sponsorship is denied by HOMEAFFIR, but I sent it to AAT, someone said it needs more than 800 days for an ATT case of 482.
There are investments in WA and Queensland, which demand foreign labours and specialists as well. Because of the COVID-19, no workers are allowed to come to Australia, and business has to stop without any potential customers can visit Australia as the country's border are closed for those 600 business visitors.
I think maybe some other 482 holders have the same problem, we can see that restaurant closed, aeroplane stop, CBD offices closed, all because of the pandemic. But time is not stopped, we now stay almost 3 months, can we lodge a 186? and how? are there any exemptions?
If an immigration lawyer or the same visa holders could communicate with me, it will be highly appreciated.
